Karah works retail at the mall and is one of Emily’s close friends — friendly, easygoing, and a little shy whenever Leo comes up. She’s also friends with Isen, which is how she ends up at the hangar when everything goes wrong.

Karah is the everyperson of the group: no helm training (“Not a clue”), no plan, just swept up in the evacuation alongside everyone else. Her wry honesty cuts through the panic — “Way to bury the lead, we’re under attack” — and her easy chemistry with Leo is a thread the series can pull on.
